Wasps And Sting Prevention
Sue McBean, a lecturer of Nursing at the University of Ulster at Coleraine has launched a website dedicated to the prevention and treatment of wasp stings. The UU says that the bad weather is no reason to let your guard down.
Today as I was out cutting the grass I found the wee blighters had infiltrated the apples in the back yard. A short burst of bug spray sorted them out…
The worst case scenario is death, but for most of us a sting results in some pain and a bit of swelling. Apparently there seems to be some controversy over the use of Vinigar (cf. Jellyfish) on wasp stings. Personally I tend to take the offensive form of wasp sting prevention. If one enters the house, it dies - no mercy.
